It would stutter and not play sometimes because my songs are too big. I followed the instructions posted for this battery when first using it to letting it discharge completely three times befor fully again charging it. I bought it because my old computer was running way too slow for Ableton. It installed easily and is working great. The battery I ordered for my older Sony laptop is working well.

The Macbook Pro 13' just barely fits into the 1080 although with no room to spare for padding in the length. After struggling to find the CORRECT battery at a certain big internet store, I was delighted to find Next Day Power where batteries and computers are labeled with their proper model numbers. I also looked at the Pelican (hardback) case 1080. The price beat the competition handily, too. The battery itself charged quickly and completely and yields approximately the same use between charges as the original that came with the notebook. Delivery was fast, charges were accurate and company follow-up to my purchase was A+. The battery I needed and ordered was the battery I received. The included instructions were a fabulous help. Actually, it is a great improvement over the original. The battery was the perfect replacement for my laptop. The top-end version goes from 2.7 GHz to 2.8 GHz, an even less impressive 3.7. The 13 model advances from 2.3 GHz to 2.4 GHz, a relatively insignificant 4.3 speed bump. The Late 2011 MacBook Pros represent a small step forward from the Early 2011 models introduced 8 months earlier.
